Bantamweight fighter Tial "The Dragon Leg" Thang and light heavyweight Tuco Tokkos from Kill Cliff FC are both featured on the main card of All In Combat 3. Thang, with a 5-2 record, steps into the headliner against Darrius "Action" Jackson. Meanwhile, Tokkos, who goes by Tuco "300" Tokkos, brings his unique backstory to the event, reflecting on his tough upbringing in London.
Kill Cliff FC bantamweight Tial “The Dragon Leg” Thang and KCFC light heavyweight Tuco Tokkos are both on the main card Saturday at the All In Combat 3: Thang vs. Jackson in broiling hot Mandeville, Louisiana. (Hey, is it mudbug season?).
Oddly, and in what may be a Kill Cliff FC first, they both fight a guy named Jackson.
Thang’s bout was moved to the headliner after the Wednesday cancellation of Coulter vs. Tatum.
Thang, 5-2, is coming off two wins, including an All In Combat 2 victory over Nico Commissiong in May. His next up bout is with Darrius “Action” Jackson, 2-1, who is coming off a loss in March.
Tuco, whose first name is George—sometimes—but goes by Tuco “300” Tokkos because “I look like Leonidas in the movie ‘300,’” told us he learned he could take a punch as a kid. “I’m from an impoverished working-class part of London, growing up in council housing (public housing) so fighting outside was literally an everyday thing,” he said. “I had taken a million punches before I ever stepped foot in a gym. Couldn’t tell you the first time or why it happened, but my response was for sure punching them back twice as hard.”
The event takes place Saturday, August 19, at the Castine Center in You can see it live and in person as it won’t be televised.
